With more focus every day on living more sustainable lives, we thought we’d take a look at some of the biodegradable and environmentally-friendly products that can use on a daily basis to reduce our human impact. Everyday life does not have to be outrageously affected by an effort to cut down on the waste produced by normal tasks.

Living Walls are becoming a popular way to incorporate greenery into spaces that may not have the room to hold traditional plants. Living Walls are great for making sure that spaces are open and airy but not bland or lifeless. Low-maintenance plants such as various types of succulents also help to decorate and greenify spaces without putting too much strain on water supply.

Food packaging can also be changed to make sure that the materials used will not just go to landfills and exist forever. Plates, utensils, napkins, straws, and other items designed for food service are more frequently being made with biodegradable materials, or even being foregone entirely in the case of plastic straws. Wrappers and other packaging materials are scheduled to be going the same way, as businesses focus on the sustainability of their products’ packaging, moving away from single-use plastics.
