Here at Seas Lyfe, one of our main goals is to spread awareness regarding the plastic pollution in our ocean. It is obvious to most if not all of us that something needs to change if we expect to have the ocean within the next 100 years. It has come to the point where plankton in the ocean is outnumbered by tiny pieces of microplastic 5 to 1.
When people say that their individual contribution to the cause will not affect anything they are absolutely wrong. There might be 7 billion people on this planet but when you think about how we affect one another then it makes sense. Nothing has such an effect on a person than when it comes directly from another person they trust.
We shouldn’t have to convince you to care for the Earth. If we don’t all jump on board then our ocean will be uninhabitable within the next 100 years. This isn’t a myth or rumor, it is completely true. Saving the ocean isn’t for anyone else except you and those who still have yet to come.
