Seas Lyfe is not just a clothing brand or a boat. We are a lifestyle brand that focuses on getting people motivated about going out and exploring all that life has to offer. We are also a group of about 15 men that make their living on the water. We have made a choice to take 2 years out of our own time to sail around the world documenting all the trash and plastic polluting our ocean. Our goal is to spread awareness of exactly how big of a problem the pollution in our ocean has become. In addition to awareness, we are motivating other to go out and enjoy life how it was meant to be experienced.
Join us in our mission to take the trash out of our ocean and keep it clean. If we keep on at the current rate, our ocean will be uninhabitable soon enough. We cannot survive without our ocean, it produces more than 70% of our oxygen. We must start implementing sustainable methods of using our resources. Why did we start this? Short and simple, we hate the amount of trash in the ocean. Anytime we are out on the water whether we are surfing, sailing, fishing, jet skiing or participating in any watersport for even just an hour, guaranteed you will come across over 5 pieces of trash just sitting in our ocean. Help us in spreading our message of conservation, so that our ocean will still be around for the future generations that might not be able to use if we continue down this path.
We need to be the generation that stopped the cycle of pollution. It has come to the point where we need to come together as the people of Earth and work together to begin cleaning our ocean. It will take time, but if we do not start now it will become irreparable and soon enough we will not be able to use our ocean. The first step is eliminating the single-use plastics that serve as comfort items that are not actually needed such as plastic straws. In the United States, we use over 580,000,000 plastic straws every day. Be the change that you want to see in the world. No one is going to start until you do. Set an example, save our ocean.
